Stripe, the payments provider for developers, will add robust foreign exchange capabilities, the company’s founder disclosed today. Patrick Collison informed Stripe users today that the company was “putting the finishing touches on our support for foreign-currency charges for US and EU users.” The changes will mean that Stripe can handle “any currency of your choosing,” according to Collison. The company will soon open the currency functionality to a group of beta testers. The date for the start of that beta could not be determined. Stripe launched in 2010 and has raised $40 million in venture funding to date. Learn more about Stripe here. Learn more about what’s next in banking at Bank Innovation 2014 on March 3-4 in Seattle.
