Payment discounts rate may vary, but they are never 0% — except if bitcoins are involved. Cryptopay, a London-based payments company, is now offering free processing for payments using bitcoin for two months. The deal is yet another sign why bitcoin momentum remains strong. Indeed, ฿1 continues to trade above $800 today. Cryptopay claims it offers ”a fully compliant way to accept Bitcoin payments on your website with fast settlement to your current UK business bank account.” The company is “currently in beta,” which is why it is waiving any processing fees for two months. After the introductory offer, Cryptopay is expected to charge 1% to process payments using bitcoins. The service is currently available only in Europe.
