Ah, 2013! Was it really, as some have said, a “lost year” for tech? Hardly. Throughout the year, we read stories that wowed us (“Google Enables the Sending of Money Using Gmail”), as well as those that made us shake our heads or throw up our hands (“Coin Puts All of Your Cards Onto One Card”). Some stories made us laugh (anything to do with Clinkle), some made us cry (why didn’t we buy those bitcoins back in January?), and some made us hurl our iPads across the room in fits of rage (“Biometrics on iPhone 5S Said to Fall Short for Payments”).
