Every year, hundreds of startups enter the world of banking and financial services. They all work hard and most have seemingly sound ideas and business plans and dedicated founders, but only a few become successes and earn millions. Others gain cult followings and linger in the netherworld between relevance and obscurity. And the others? You don’t hear from them again. These companies, which “die” from different causes, are usually forgotten. But here at Bank Innovation, we have amassed a “deadpool”: a list of companies, all of which launched since 2009 but are now no longer with us. Check out our list of the recent FinTech dead. The list begins here.
